Y Most girls say they want a fairy tale, but you taught me that it's not really what I want. I want someone who will make fun of me & laugh at my jokes even if they aren't funny; Someone that wrestles with me and doesn't let me win just because im a girl. Yeah, riding off into the sunset on a white horse would be nice... but playing thumb war with you seems so much better.
R.I.P Chris. We love and miss you.
1 dead, 3 hurt in area crash - Trooper says speed, alcohol contributing factors in Midvale accident
MIDVALE – Christopher K. Miller, 18, of Uhrichsville was pronounced dead in Union Hospital at Dover after he was ejected from his vehicle in a crash on Brightwood Rd. near Barnhill Rd. at Midvale late Saturday night.
A report from the New Philadelphia post of the Ohio Highway Patrol said speed and alcohol were contributing factors in the 11:40 p.m. crash.
Troopers said Miller was driving east on Brightwood Rd. with three passengers in his 1987 Ford Mustang when the car failed to negotiate a left curve. The car went off the left side of the road, through a chain-link fence and overturned before stopping in the parking lot of Kimble Fabricating Co. at 3211 Brightwood Rd. SE, Midvale.
Miller was not wearing a seat belt, but his passengers were, according to troopers. Brian J. Draher, 18, of Uhrichsville, the front-seat passenger, was taken to Union Hospital along with Zachery R. Rentsch, 15, of Uhrichsville, who was in the back seat.
A hospital representative had no further information available Sunday night.
Mitch A. Jackson, 17, of New Philadelphia, a rear-seat passenger, was treated in Twin City Hospital at Dennison.
Sgt. Chris Wood of the Patrol said he wants to stress the importance of using a safety belt.
“The accident is unfortunate for all of the families and parties that were involved,” Wood said.
“The State Highway Patrol will continue to discourage underage drinking, and for those old enough to partake, we will continue to encourage using a designated driver.”
The crash remained under investigation Sunday night, and results of an autopsy were pending at the Stark County coroner’s office. |
